Volunteer Opportunities:

Jewish Federation of Orange County has created a Volunteer Database to create a support network in the Jewish Community 

City Net Homeless Support is a robust team of nonprofit professionals working in multiple cities to end street-level homelessness. During COVID-19 they are in need of homemade face masks and assembled meal kits.

Second Harvest

Second Harvest Food Bank Truck Brigade is a volunteer opportunity in Irvine to distribute boxes of shelf-stable food door-to-door. Volunteers between the ages of 18 and 64 who own mid-sized or larger open-bed pickup trucks are needed to help deliver food boxes to pantries. Call 949.653.2900 or click here. the

Jewish Federation of Orange County is committed to helping people find assistance and support during the COVID-19 outbreak. If you have a need please fill out the Federation’s online form.

Many of our local congregations are working to support their members in need. If you are connected to a local congregation, visit their website or contact the office to learn what support services they may have in place.

 

Donate:

The Jewish Collaborative's Tzedak-a-the-Month Club fund allocates 100% of contributions donated toward the purchase and delivery of urgently needed food and supplies for OC’s vulnerable homeless population. Learn more and donate here

City Net is working diligently to implement COVID-19 plans that align with those of public health officials and community leaders. Click here to support the Collaborative’s campaign to purchase 15,000 sanitizing wipes as part City Net’s COVID-19 Hope Fund drive.

Orange County United Way is raising money to establish an emergency relief fund to support OC’s most vulnerable during COVID-19 response. Support their Pandemic Relief Fund.

The OC Community Resilience Fund is a collaborative response by the Orange County philanthropic community seeking to strengthen and support community-based organizations who serve vulnerable communities most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
